Si è svolta presso il Ministero delle Infrastrutture e dei Trasporti una riunione operativa convocata dal Vicepresidente del Consiglio e Ministro Matteo Salvini sulla fattibilità di una nuova fermata dell'Alta Velocità nel territorio del frusinate.
All'incontro hanno partecipato Nicola Ottaviani, Segretario V Commissione Bilancio, Tesoro e Programmazione della Camera dei Deputati; Riccardo Mastrangeli, Sindaco di Frosinone.
Presenti inoltre i rappresentanti delle Ferrovie Dello Stato, delle Associazioni di Categoria, della CISL.
Per la Federlazio Alessandro Casinelli, Past President e membro del Consiglio Direttivo e Massimiliano Iannucci, Direttore della sede di Frosinone.
Alessandro Casinelli: "Dieci anni fa, sotto la mia presidenza, in un nostro convegno tenutosi alle Terme di Pompeo di Ferentino, alla presenza dell'allora Ministro delle Infrastrutture e dei Trasporti, Maurizio Lupi, Federlazio sottolineò con forza la necessità per il territorio di essere collegato alla rete ferroviaria dell'Alta Velocità. È passato molto tempo, ma ora finalmente la cosa sembra realizzarsi. È stato, infatti, un incontro utile che fa ben sperare per giungere, entro breve tempo, alla realizzazione della nuova stazione Alta Velocità di Frosinone - Ferentino - Supino in modo da rispondere alle esigenze dei cittadini e delle imprese che, ormai, da troppo tempo aspettano un'opera così importante per il territorio della nostra Provincia".
